I’d like to note that my newest column, "Dressing Dexter," is now available on the newstands and on-line. Astute readers of the blog will notice that said column is actually a re-packaging of two separate blog posts from the past week or two.

I would be ashamedof this recycling, but insofar as there are no astute readers of the blog — there being no actual readers of the blog [other than you, Mark R. — hi buddy!] — I have no one to be ashamed in front of, and I don’t think you can beashamed if there’s no one around to witness it. It’s like the tree falling in the forest thing, except that it’s always seemed to me that the answer to that koan is clearly "yes, it makes a sound, since sound has to do with vibrations ‘n’ shit; it doesn’t seem dependent on a listener." So I guess it’s not like that at all.

The column is actually a revised, refined version ofthe blog posts, so it’s worth re-reading, ifin fact there are readers out there to re-,simply to witness the creative process of the Dexter in action.
