A is for American Music Awards

Created in 1973 by Dick Clark, the sad puppet given life by the Music-Industrial Complex, the AMAs are the Shemp of the music awards industry—you know they exist, but you’re not sure why, you don’t quite know what they look like, and you have a feeling that they do all sorts of strange things with farm animals that would turn you on and disgust at the same time.
