Our wedding date happened to fall in between two significant events; the Royal Couple’s wedding and the day of Osama Bin Ladin’s demise. While these dates will forever be remembered in World History, they aren’t nearly as special or significant as the day we both got to marry our best friend.

We took an enormous risk getting married outside in New England in late April. The weather on April 30th the previous year was fantastic, and we took a gamble as April tends to be a bit… rainy. Thank god all the snow melted and the sun was shining bright. It was a picture perfect spring day and we were blessed to be surrounded by great friends and family. We chose The Barney Estate at Forest Park for our venue and we could not be happier. The flowers were in bloom and the grounds were freshly landscaped which granted us a plethora of incredible photos. The ceremony was intimate with readings and songs from close family members and friends. The reception was no doubt a blast for all; especially with the choreographed Lebanese belly-dance that we kicked it off with! Following the reception, the evenings festivities continued with our guests being escorted to Samuel’s Tavern via a big Yellow School Bus, The evening finally ended with the wedding party and close friends and family taking over the hotel lobby until the wee hours of the morning. We are extremely grateful to have been able to share such a special and memorable day with such a fantastic group of people.
