So, last night, the story drops that Sarah Palin did cocaine and former basketballer Glenn Rice.

I personally doubt the validity of the claims in the book. Regardless, the uproar is silly. Politicians are generally a shifty, immoral bunch. Their personal lives tend to make most normal folk look downright tame in comparison. I wouldn’t vote for Palin anyway, but not because she indulged in a little recreational nose powdering and slept with a former basketball star.

It seems an antiquated notion at this point, but politics should be about pragmatic issues in the real world, not about sensationalist details of someone’s personal life.

That’s just my opinion.

But what do I know? I’ve never been terrorized by a naked man sucking on a Fudgesicle.
