The day of our wedding was March 12, and it was a beautiful sunny day in Athens, Georgia. We spent all weekend surrounded with family members and friends. There were many magical memories made throughout our wedding weekend. We got married in a ballroom at The Foundry Park Inn, and had an outdoor reception. We continued the wedding into the evening by having the band where we first met play. There was dancing, good food and fun had by all. One of our favorite memories was during our ceremony. As part of our vows, we recited a poem by Robert Hunter. We recited the verses back and forth to each other. Steve and I felt as though we were the only people in the room, and were swept up in each others love. It was as if the universe stopped for a moment and acknowledged our union. We will remember this moment for the rest of our lives.
