There are few more stressful jobs than Emergency Room Technician, and one can imagine the focused intent required to unwind from a day when urgency is the rule rather than the exception. Northampton’s Aaron Morse has found release through art and music, and combines the two media in the aptly titled exhibit/event Cross Pollinate.
In conjunction with the abstract art exhibit Explosion, which pairs his visual work with that of fellow artist Tom Morton, Morse augments paintings and video with a musical performance by his acoustic folk-rock/blues project, For the Birds. The band also features Springfield’s Mike Forest on guitar and ukulele and Northampton’s Annika Amstutz on vocals, fiddle and mandolin.
