Wilder/Williams is a coupling of two lesser known one-act plays by American masters. The Happy Journey to Trenton and Camden, by Thornton Wilder, is an early exploration of the deceptively mundane themes epitomized in Our Town. Tennessee Williams’ Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen is a harsh but poetic two-character encounter that’s been called “an intimacy of desperation.” The fully staged professional production this weekend is part of Huntington’s North Hall Festival, a hilltown hidden treasure.
