In regard to your recent cover story about Bill Maher (“Bill Maher Stands Up,” October 24, 2013): I love you, Bill! I’ve always wanted to have 10 of the most influential people in my life sit down for great wine and food and just talk, and you are one of them.
Thank you for being you. There was a time when people like us were the crazies. How time has changed that.
I love Bill Maher’s show and travel to see him when possible. He’s a refreshing change from my Red State and all the Republican morons.
It’s very refreshing to hear such blunt views on politics; the fact that Maher can just be himself is a demonstration of freedom of speech.
I love Bill Maher’s show. Lately, every Republican on the show seems to be saying the same thing as Fox News! Granted, at least they’re on the same page. But it’s like they’re programmed!
I’d like to see some originality and some solutions from both sides. At the very least, we have to ban corporations from contributing money to political campaigns if we are to ever have a legitimate form of government again. It cannot go on the way it has and everyone knows it!
Words Hurt
Hey, Bill Maher: why do you have to use words like “fagtopia”? There is nothing funny at all about using this word. It is very insulting to many people. Politically incorrect is one thing, but personally incorrect is another thing.
And, hey, Valley Advocate: even if you are using someone else’s quote, you should not repeat such trash.
