This Saturday, Turners Falls is the site of two simultaneous day-long celebrations: the Pocumtuck Homelands Festival and the Turners Falls Block Party.
Organized by the Nolumbeka Project, the Pocumtuck Festival—which will be held at Unity Park—is a celebration of Native American music, art and culture that includes storytelling, craft vendors and live music by Medicine Mammal Singers, Hawk Henries (pictured with flute) and more.
The annual Block Party happens downtown, and features a New Orleans-style parade, over a dozen classic cars, food, crafts and music.
