Valley Music Showcase

Genres clash in the most melodic way possible Friday night in Easthampton. The Valley Music Showcase at the New City Brewery is a “bi-monthly mini music fest” — or as I like to call it, the Bi-Mon Min-MuFest — and it pulls from all musical genres, according to organizers. The fest is judged and there are prizes for the winner. This show’s bands include a wealth of Valley Advocate Sessions alumni: Grayson Ty, The Greys, Eavesdrop Trio, and Shokazoba. Luke Deroy Trio will also compete and the guest performer is Humble Digs. Judges will be Bill Newman, WHMP; and Kaliis Smith, 93.9. Enjoy a night of psychedelic rock, pop folk, conscious jazz, soul folk, rock, and conscious fusion funk.

The Valley Music Showcase: Friday, 8 p.m. $6. New City Brewery, 180 Pleasant St., Easthampton. (413) 203-9764, valleymusicshowcase@gmail.com.
