The Family That Rhymes Together …

This hip-hop workshop is family-friendly and focused on training young people in fashion, rhythmic poetry, and visual arts. The weekly class integrates inner-city arts and graffiti using constructive “off the wall” methods. Hosted by Sheldon Smith, who’s been producing art and clothing since the ’90s, the workshop seeks to help people of all ages find their creative voices.

Off the Wall: Visual Arts, Fashion, & Rhythmic Poetry: Thursday, June 29, 6-9 p.m. Suggested donation $5-$10. Make-It-Springfield, 168 Worthington St., Springfield.
