Megan Lambert
Megan Lambert, BA Smith College, MA in Children's Literature Simmons College, is an Instructor with the Center for the Study of Children's Literature at Simmons College, where she primarily teaches in the satellite graduate programs housed at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art She has also worked at The Carle for the past eight years where she now serves on a part-time basis as the Children's Literature and Outreach Associate, and she is a Visiting Lecturer in English at Mt. Holyoke College. A freelance writer and reviewer for several journals, Megan was named a 2009 Massachusetts Literacy Champion by the Massachusetts Literacy Foundation in recognition of her work at the Carle developing two original, interactive storytime models, The Whole Book Approach and A Book in Hand, which support engagement with the picture book as an art form through inquiry-based, dialogic reading.
