Maybe I need to rethink. Maybe the American public deserves some credit, as the hate-mongering by McPalin just seems to be backfiring on them left and right except for the lunatic fringe at their Mussolini-esque rallies. Maybe people really want to rise above this crap. I’ve even heard tell of a poll that sites an anti-Bradley effect, in which some lifelong Republicans, disgusted by this jingoistic, racist recent turn, simply cannot see voting for McCain. Or, another kind of anti-Bradley, those who are drawn to Barack becausehe’s black, an inarguably real change.We shall see. For now, though, things are looking good. Too good?
