Among the many other details that make up a wedding, there were two things that we wanted on our day: as many friends and family with us as we could have, and good weather for them all to enjoy Newport, RI!
As it turned out, we got both in a very special way… A New England-style monsoon had sabotaged our Friday plans and left much to be desired for the wedding on Saturday. However, we awoke Saturday morning to a clear, blue sky and ideal fall temperatures that lasted through the entire day. We couldn’t help but think that our grandparents who had passed away over the years were making miracles happen from above! This thought stayed with us throughout the wedding and well into the following day when we awoke to the return of the rain! We truly believe that all of our family and friends played a part in giving us the most amazing wedding day possible!
