Hollow at the Moon

Feel that prickle on the back of your neck? The full moon is coming around again. If your inner animal is feeling frisky, come celebrate at the foot of Mount Greylock, where the Tamarack Hollow Nature and Cultural Center is hosting an arts and music festival on Saturday night. The family-friendly shindig will feature live performances from Gaia Roots World Music Ensemble with West African and Caribbean drums, Pittsfield City Hoopla and Serenity Circles Hoola Hooping, and the Berkshire Rhythm Keepers, followed by a full moon hike. Plus: a campfire jam and open mic, interactive wildflower art activities, a silent auction, a youth watercolor art exhibit, food and drink, and edible wildflowers. Proceeds benefit the Tamarack Hollow Nature and Cultural Center, a conservation nonprofit based in Windsor, MA.

Tamarack Hollow Nature and Cultural Center Spring Wildflower Full Moon Arts & Music Fest: May 21, from 6-10 p.m. $10-$20 suggested donations for adults and teens; kids 12 and under free. Mt. Greylock State Reservation Visitor’s Center, 30 Rockwell Road, Lanesboro. tamarackhollownatureandculturalcenter.org.
