Even though it's December, golf is all the rage at the Winterland Country Club. Virtual golf, that is. The new club boasts two large projection-screen TVs on which patrons can play 18 holes or practice on the putting green or driving range. Tee times are available daily (and are necessary). The club also features couches and love seats to kick back in, as well as a full wireless Internet connection so guests can browse the Web while waiting for tee time. The newest addition to the Greenfield club is entertainment. With the proper licensing in order, the Winterland has recently begun to host live bands, like Valley reggae favorites the Equalites. The Equalites are getting down this Sat., Dec. 22 for the first time at the Winterland, located at 76 Hope St., Greenfield, (413) 772-0111.
