This spring marks the 12th season for the Northampton Tuesday Market. The market is open on Tuesdays from April to November and is a part of the Grow Food Northampton initiative. Their goals are twofold: first to encourage people to grow their own food and to make locally grown food available to the public, and second to educate kids about growing food through field trips to the Giving Garden, Community Garden, and the Crimson & Clover Farm. A recent Tuesday Market season had produce and products from 30 vendors from around the area and sold over $450,000 over the course of the season. That’s a lot of fresh veggies!
