City farmers host biotechies

When a bunch of biotech executives visited the Pioneer Valley on Tuesday this week, looking into possibly locating some business resources in the area, including Springfield, one of them—Nina Corcoran of Cambridge-based Genzyme—was quoted by Springfield Republican reporter Patricia Norris as saying, "I learned a lot more than I thought I would."

City of Low Expectations?

In pumping up the visit in an October 11 editorial, the Republican used agricultural metaphors, offering some interesting contradictions.
