Six artists—Jaq Chartier, Carrie Seid, Ali Moshiri, Sean Greene, Margaret Withers (whose work is pictured), and Anne Lilly—show their works at William Baczek Fine Arts in an exhibition dubbed Abstraction. The artworks include geometric designs, abstractions that suggest objects or people, and some beautiful works of kinetic sculpture. Those metal sculptures, created by Anne Lilly, move in surprising and intricate ways, set in motion by viewers. In addition to traditionally painted pieces, you’ll find the unusual “paintings” of Carrie Seid, who works with cut pieces of aluminum, all eventually covered with oiled or dyed silk.
