How long do you think politicians will keep milking the booze excuse? Can’t be too much longer, seeing as NO ONE IN AMERICA CAN POSSIBLY BE BUYING IT. Gavin:
"Upon reflection with friends and family this weekend, I have come to the conclusion that I will be a better person without alcohol in my life," Newsom said in a written statement. "I take full responsibility for my personal mistakes and my problems with alcohol are not an excuse for my personal lapses in judgment."
Except, er, well, er, it was all the hooch, I’m really not like that, dood, I swear! I love you, man!
As a new bar owner, (see link, and, also above masculine image by uber-fabu designer Anja Schutz) and on behalf of drinkers and drug-users with actual consciences everywyere and voters tired of being treated like idjits, I am disgusted. Blech, yuck, and phooey.
