Here’s an example of how, as I wrote in my last post, I’m usually so pro-women as to be considered anti-men when it concerns conflicts between the sexes. I’ve never been a Britney Spears fan, don’t really know her music, her videos, etc., but for little glimpses now and again. I’m not that ignorant, but I am something of a BritNeyophyte (Sorry, I just couldn’t resist). That said, from the first moment I heard about and then saw photos of KFed, I immediately labelled him a coattail-ridin’ scumbag (a pop-music Tom Arnold, if you will), and she a naive victim. Thus I cheered when I heard she’d texted him to tell him she’d filed for divorce, and I rooted for her in her comeback on TV while everyone else watching with me at the bar mocked her. Even now, as she falls completely to pieces and is (seemingly) clearly an unfit parent, I feel bad for her losing her children. What’s alerted me to how irrationally biased I am in this is that, aside from the "leave Britney alone!" guy on Youtube (below), no one else seems to have even a hint of pity for her. Dear Diary (and Dexter), am I just a man-hater or do I really see through KFed’s eyes to his evil soul?
