Mary Serreze of the Community Radio Hour on Valley Free Radio attended the first meeting of the new Northampton City Council held a few hours after the inauguration and provides podcast coverage of the meeting as recorded by volunteers from local Cable Access Channel 15:
"Dressed ceremoniously, the Northampton City Council inaugurated the season with a vote for a leadership shift. Oddly enough, a vote to change the seating to reflect the new political realities failed.
