This week at The Elevens, you can catch some Brooklyn-flavored indie pop, courtesy of My Teenage Stride (pictured). Playing with the teen walkers are Mark Robinson, Public Record and MMM's Live Archive.
Northampton-based MMM's Live Archive is an intriguing endeavor. MMM herself—Michelle M. Marchese—projects slides with handwritten texts, from, her Myspace page says, "strangers' vacations, old celebrity press kits and science textbooks." She accompanies the slides and the stories rendered by the texts with guitar and laptop. Should be a vacation of a whole different kind.
