Frogs and toads ribbit and peep to mark their territory, attract mates, or even to herald a coming rain. Sometimes certain types of frogs and toads ribbit out of pure, joyous revelry. Those kinds of frogs are marvelous merrymakers who possess an enchanting song. But those frogs are a rare breed, and only the lucky—or at least the well-informed—will have a chance to hear their song. Luckily, the "frogs and toads" of the South Hadley Children's Chorus can be heard this week at Frogs and Toads: A Singing Tribute to Arnold Lobel, author of Days With Frog and Toad.
