The Paradise City Arts Festival seems to keep perfecting itself every year, having just been named the number one art fair in America by AmericanStyle magazine. This year, the festival boasts 55 new artists (out of its whopping 250 total) in practically every conceivable medium, from photography to fiber art to filigreed jewelry to fine furniture and even food (and that’s just the Fs!). There’s also live jazz, providing a soundtrack to the stroll-and-ogle, and the traditional Silent Art Auction to benefit WGBY/PBS.

New this year at PCAF is the addition of live theater, with performances by New Century Theatre and the highly interactive childrens’ programming of PaintBox Theatre. Other activities include a collaborative effort to “go green” by constructing a huge globe from recycled materials.
