Even if spring has been taking its sweet time to spring, with hopes of May flowers turning into prayers for June flora, there's no lack of bloom in the art world. In what is perhaps an effort to hasten the colors and fragrances of the tardy season, the 11 South Gallery presents Botanical Riot: Flowers, Fruit and Foliage, an array of floral-themed paintings by Elice Davis Pieropan and David Sund and pottery by Pamela Pieropan Adorno.

Pieropan's oils and watercolors express the vibrant colors of the New England garden (as well as a few tropical exotics), while Sund's primarily acrylic works are showcased in a collection of eight by eight-inch close-ups, painted from the viewpoint of a grasshopper or perhaps a small garden gnome. Adorno's newest glazes and recently-developed decorating techniques are displayed in her contribution, a selection of pottery, including stoneware plates (pictured).

Through June 20, 11 South Gallery, Routes 5 and 10, Bernardston, (413) 648-5484.
