Hello Supportive Faculty, Staff, and Friends-
This Saturday, June 7th from 12-3pm at the Fort Hill site, the Smith Community Garden will hold the summer’s first Work Party!
We are sharing this with you in case you can
a) pass the word on through listservs or to friends/students
b) loan us some tools for the afternoon
c) come help out and see the garden firsthand
and just so that you know what’s happening!
There will be nice weather, yummy snacks and refreshments, and a trip to Herrell’s after the day’s work.
We’ll be finishing building our fourth raised bed, adding soil, planting (transplants and seeds!), and beautifying the space a bit.
