Art from Intuition: Overcoming your Fears and Obstacles to Making Art, a recent publication by art professor Dean Nimmer, features work by past and present Holyoke Community College students and faculty. The book is an exploration of exercises that help artists overcome mental obstacles that hinder creativity. In conjunction with the book’s release, the college’s Taber Art Gallery presents The Making of a Book, an exhibit of works that appear in Nimmer’s visual compendium.
