We’ll look for fall migrants and have a look at the beautiful Baye Ponds in the Meadows, which were preserved by Valley Land Fund. Harvey is an incredible birder and wonderful guide. The view from the Meadows is amazing! Meet at 7 am at the commuter parking lot on the road from Route 9 into the Fairgrounds in Northampton. Co-sponsored by Valley Land Fund and Hampshire Bird Club. FNTG:
On *Sunday, September 14th*, the Friends of Northampton Trails and Greenways will be sponsoring two great events:
a walking tour, meeting at Forbes Library, 2 pm; and
a 20 mile biking tour, meeting at Sugar Maple Trailside Inn at 62 Chestnut Street in Florence at 3:50 pm.
Both events will give new insight into our expanding network, as well as a future vision for trails around Northampton.
Prior signup for the bike tour is required, and is helpful for the walking tour: email us at fntg.net@gmail.com to sign up for one or both of these events.
Hope to see you on the trails!
