Singer/songwriter Justin Levinson was introduced to music at an early age by his father, a popular Vermont music teacher. After enjoying regional success during high school with his band Subside, Levinson went on to earn his bachelor's degree in composition from Boston's Berklee College of Music. Now, back home in Vermont with a few impressive accolades under his belt—he was a finalist in the 2007 USA Songwriting Competition and was named best male artist by the International Acoustic Music Awards—Levinson is gearing up to record his sophomore album while touring New England in support of his debut album, 1175 Boylston (named after the address of his apartment in Boston where he wrote most of the songs). 1175 Boylston features songs boasting witty lyrics, tight instrumentals and Levinson's twangy voice, whose boyishness gives away his youthful age of 23.
