100-Mile Diet Day 14: Damn you JoJo

To keep the 100-Mile diet going in the early days, best not to be near “outsider food.” Who would think there would be temptation at Home Depot? Oh there is, at the hot dog place out in front, Jo Jo's. I figure I'll just check them out, all reporter like. So I go up to the girl and say, “Hi.” She is holding tongs and says, “Hi, can I get you a dog?” and I'm like, “Is this Jo Jo the same Jo Jo mobile company that was featured in the Springfield Republican this weekend..on Sunday?” She stares at me. So I stall for time so that I can get a peek at their inventory. “Is this truck a Jo Jo truck, or just a hot dog place?” And she goes, “Oh, well….it is a truck but the owner is JoAnn.” Oh. Right. Move on.
