The Leading Ladies (pictured) boast the status "the only outlet for musical theater on the Smith College campus," and are still going strong as they stage their 14th production this fall. Since 2002, they've put on such classics as Lucky Stiff and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and now try their hands at perhaps more subtle fare with She Loves Me, a play about two feuding clerks in a European parfumerie who are unaware that the romantic pen pals with whom they have been corresponding are actually each other. The play stars Andrea Santarlasci '09 as Georg, and Jessica Labbe '11 as Amalia (the two rivals), and is directed by Anna Richardson '10.
