St. James' Coffeehouse is located in St. James' Episcopal Church on Church Street in downtown Greenfield. Every year from September to May, the coffeehouse, which is handicapped accessible, presents an impressive roster of regional acoustic folk musicians. The folks at St. James' are gearing up for the '09 season (they take a time out for holiday festivities in December), starting Jan. 10 with guitarist and violinist Tracy Grammer and folkie Jim Henry. February's featured performer is singer/songwriter Don White. March brings Northern Lights, a lion of a string band with a career spanning three decades. In April, St. James' will play host to Red Molly, a female roots trio; and in May, Work O' The Weavers, a New York-based folk quartet, channels the spirit of The Weavers onstage at the coffeehouse.

Past performers include Jeffrey Foucault, Vance Gilbert, Erica Wheeler, Orrin Starr and Katie Clark and the Green River Band (pictured at the coffeehouse).

The doors open at 7 p.m. for all shows. Admission ranges from $14-19 and refreshments are always available. Please log on to www.st.james-gfld.org/coffeehouse.html for more information.
