Housed in the basement, Easy Street Nightclub in Greenfield is a bastion of all things rock and metal. The club, located on Fiske Avenue underneath the burrito bar Mesa Verde, plays host to a seriously eclectic array of musicians who play everything from jazz and hip-hop to alternative rock and death metal.
There's a party every night of the week at Easy Street. Festivities kick off on Monday with Mark Wait playing rock and metal. Tuesday night is Greenfield's version of MTV's Total Request Live with DJ B. Whit. Patrons can take salsa lessons on Wednesday, then thrash out to alternative and modern rock by DJ B. Whit. Thursday night features aspiring musicians during open mic (pictured) with Watchdog. The folks at Easy Street turn it up a notch on Friday with either a live band—Endcount, Ambition 2 Bleed and Wrenchneck have graced the stage recently—or funk Friday with M.T. Wait. Saturday brings more live bands and '80s night with DJ B. Whit. Easy Street winds down the weekend on Sunday with karaoke hosted by Dawn and Tom Mayo.
