Although hanging a wall-sized oil painting in the dining room or installing a 2,000-pound marble sculpture in the back yard might satisfy one’s more exhibitionistic artistic desires, such measures are, unfortunately, rarely logistically or financially feasible. Luckily, wonderful things do sometimes come in small packages. In Gallery A3’s Small Wonders Holiday Show and Sale, artwork from more than 50 local artists is available for purchase, each piece no more than 11″x14″ in size. Work spans the gamut from Marianne Connolly’s color-drenched photo collages and Olivia Bernard’s abstract sculptures to the clean lines of Jitnapa Suthikant’s humorous photographs.
