Locavore diet today: soup at farmer & baker conference with raw ricotta and squash, greens with a fried egg on top, stilton cheese (england – 5000 miles) and locavore bread made of beets, local wheat, wicked strong starter and butter….and wine.
Updike dead. The real appeal, not noted so far on the many blogs and print editions of testimony of the author was his animal appeal. His rabbit character, like the author, was a fierce animal wearing pajamas. The pj's made the atavism all the more prounounced, like a hat on a snake.
