Those looking for something more than dinner and a movie this Valentine's Day can celebrate—and support local community service organizations—at The Amherst Club's annual charity event Love Notes. The event begins with a showcase of local talent, including music from a classical trio, contemporary and ballroom dance, and a reading of Emily Dickinson's poetry. The show will be followed by a champagne reception, where hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be accompanied by the music of the Gypsy Wranglers (pictured). The benefit supports several organizations, including the Amherst Family Center, the Amherst Survival Center, Tapestry Health, the Jones Library ESL Center and the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.
