Eccentric Chicago rockers OK Go can add "Youtube sensation" to their list of credentials—the band's homemade music video for the single "A Million Ways" was recorded in lead singer Damien Kulash's backyard on a borrowed video camera with a total budget of under $10. The video, which featured the sharp-dressing musicians performing a comical dance choreographed by Kulash's sister, became the most downloaded music video ever. Now they've recorded a second goofy music video for the catchy "Here It Goes Again," utilizing more creative choreography—this time on synchronized treadmills. The video became the second most "favorited" music video on Youtube, and even won a Grammy.
Although the band's swift ascent to stardom was not until late 2005, OK Go has churned out rock anthems since 2000. Oppenheimer and Longwave open their Pearl Street show this week.
