1. Outside

The church, built in 1886, stands on the corners of 6th and J Street. It's only a short walk from downtown, and the former Strathmore Mill, which is also being renovated and turned into digital film studio and institute.

2. Center of Church

The floor of the future music venue will be opened up to allow for dancing.

3. Church Altar

There are plans to extend the balony along either side of the church to afford more future patrons a better view of the future stage.

4. Balcony and Organ

The organ is still in working condition, and there are plans to keep it for its ornamental grandure. The acoustics beneath the vaulted ceiling allow anyone in the balcony to easily hear what's being said at alter.

5. Base of Church Spire

A cell-phone tower is hidden in the former church's spire. It was installed by technicians who were far braver than this photographer, braving the rickety wooden steps that climb to its summit.
