Amazon seem to have dug itself a hole by ostensibly removing "adult" material from its sales rankings, but actually removing lots of gay and other lit while leaving items such as a Playboy centerfold book untouched. An Amazon spokesperson has attributed the snafu to a coding "glitch." It does seem to me that this is likely more a case of carelessness and stupidity and general prudishness than homophobia. (FYI, I believe the anthology Sex for America, with its amazing book cover by Anja Schutz, was among the affected titles). You'd think a company Amazon's size and stature might've thought things through a bit more before proceeding with the deletions.

Only one Bo!!!

So my old classmate and hoops buddy Barry went and stole my esteemed dog's good name (and blamed his kids for it). You'd think a guy with a staff his size (no entendre intended) would be able to better research such choices. But come to think of it, maybe it's an homage. My lawyers are on it, regardless. In the mean time, feel free to reprazent!

(NOTE: This was not intended to be my most self-and-missus promotional post ever, I just got lucky like that.)
