Below is a list of the downtown properties that have opted out of the Northampton Business Improvement District (NBID) as of Friday, April 17, at 4:00. The deadline for property owners to file opt-out forms was Tuesday, April 21 at 4:30.
City clerk Wendy Mazza showed the Advocate a folder containing more than 190 opt-out forms, some referencing more than one property, and dozens representing residential condominiums. Eric Suher stopped by late Friday afternoon and filed 16 more forms. This reporter transcribed a list of properties that had been opted out, then matched those addresses with photographs that had been taken over the past several days.
Every attempt was made to be accurate. The official list will be compiled by the office of the city clerk.
