Big thanks to those who voted for MAID in the Valley Advocate Poll. I was very surprised to see the blog come in third as, because of my lack of frequency in recent months, I didn’t think it worthy and so didn’t campaign at all. For those of you who may have seen this blogin the readers’ poll and be visiting here for the first time, while addressing masculinity and feminism in our culture from a straight male perspective was originally MAID’s focus, these days itcan be pretty much about anything, from presidential campaign rants to Shwayze to videos of pit bulls who love kittens to deconstruction of Filet-o-Fish ads, to the good old sexism stuff. Bolstered by your support, I will try to rise to the occasion and produce a minimum of two posts per week, up from the meager single weeklhy post (more like a column than a blog) of recent times. Thanks, again; it's gratifying to know you're out there, let alone suportive, of this endeavor.
