Artist Jonathan Bee takes cast-off everyday objects and recycles them into a strange constructed universe called The Garden of Eden Reclaimed. In his unusual world, all kinds of things combine into a glorious explosion of colorful environments. A lace-draped truck cap holds a pile of toys and other objects; a sky of paperclips drapes down; and a room of quilts looms.
If you like Bee’s overboard dreamland, get in touch—group workshops in creating your own versions are available for the duration of the exhibition.
Through June 6, Canal Gallery, 380 Dwight St., Holyoke, (413) 532-4141.
