On April 29, hundreds of activitsts rallied outside the Vermont statehouse urging the Legislature to vote to close the Yankee Vermont nuclear plant in 2012 rather than allow the company that owns the plant, Entergy Corp. of Louisiana, to extend its life to 2032.
