Manny Ramirez will be suspended from 50 games because he tested positive for performance enhancing drugs.
Is this just Manny being Manny? Or Manny being Manny, only better? I wonder how the man got to this point and how long it's been going on. I wonder if Dodgers fans feel the same way Boston fans eventually did–fed up, provoked, let down–or if they dreaded his antics from the start. I have to say, I'm kind of disappointed; there was something I perceived as pure about his arrogance. But perhaps his juice use explains his arrogance and how out of control it got.
Remember when Manny disappeared behind a door in the Green Monster's left field wall during an at bat? He said he went back there and "pissed in a cup." Ironic how what must have been a very similar act eventually led to his undoing.
