I recently did a post about beauty pageants in which I briefly addressed Miss California Carrie Prejean and her not only intolerant but inarticulate (to use your words, Carrie, "no offense") answer to a question posed to her on the topic of gay marraige.

Today, Miss California spokesperson Keith Lewis explained how Prejean has since been in breach of her title's contract for her involvement with the National Organization for Marraige, an anti-gay marriage group. He called out NOM's president Maggie Gallagher by name and accused her of pocketing almost half of the donations made to her organization and pointed out that Donald Trump's (he produces the Miss USA pageant) steps to prevent NOM from using footage fromt the pageant for their propagandist commercial was not to silence Prejean's views, but because the footage is copyrighted (NOM's commercial featuring Prejean's answer is still on youtube, while the original answer from the broadcast is not; NBC pulled it for copyright infringement). You can see NBC's peacock logo in the lower left hand portion of the screen in NOM's commercial.

My favorite part is when Lewis says, "shame, shame, shame."
