After Jeremiah Micka lost his younger sister Stephanie to cancer on July 1, 2007, he decided to fight back against the disease and to help others avoid a similar fate. His answer: Steph's Wild Ride. This second annual family-friendly event hosts motorcycle rides, a barbecue and live music to raise funds for area children in their battle against the disease that, as Stephanie illustrates, doesn't discriminate. Performers this year include Bear Mountain, Primate Fiasco (pictured) and Wyld Stallyns. Poker Run registration for motorcycles is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Southampton Harley Davidson. Registration for bicycles is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Tri-County Fairgrounds.
June 6, 2-7 p.m., $5/kids, $25/general, Tri-County Fairgrounds, Bridge Street, Northampton, (413) 687-4887, www.stephswildride.com.
