It is the summer the icons died, it seems. Some are calling it "starmaggedon," but that phrase just doesn't sit so well with me. After the news of the passing of MJ, Farrah and Ed McMahon this weekend, the news on monday seemed a little less snarky.

Perhaps it will remain that way a bit longer. 68 year old Pina Bausch, the German choreographer who helped define contemporaty dance, died yesterday. She found out she had cancer five days prior.
