How many days after the inevitable "bipartisan compromise" will it be until the crazies start talking about the failure of the reform that got watered down to soothe all their twitching?

ADDITIONAL: The Obama administration, whose record on civil liberties I have repeatedly criticized, posted a plea for people to send them examples of right-wing viral emails promoting lies and distortions about health care. I'd be the first to criticize that if it was, as the right wing would have us believe, some kind of email informant program. It clearly was a search for info, not political opponents, if you actually look at the source. It was also a dumb idea. So there's that, then. Just sick of it popping up over and over courtesy of our own non-cheering section. Where were these people when the TIPS program came along? That was the real deal.

ALSO: A Da Vinci invention springs to life anew. Very cool.

ADDITIONAL: If you're interested in the technical difficulties which electric car makers are facing now (and faced 100 years ago), here's a very informative article from New Scientist discussing the current state of the art in making lighter and more efficient batteries.

EXTRA ADDITIONAL: Well there's your problem, general–I have two degrees in English, from different colleges, even. That gives me the special certificate in preposition usage. Which is why I'm actually allowed to append "007" to my name.

That also ain't a run-on. Here's a run-on: "My comment section is full of conservatives they have questionable definitions of grammatical terms."

That is an easily fixed problem up with which we should not have to put.

GRIM: That was almost as cool as this argument against the usage of Spandex for sausage casings. But not quite.
