Northampton citizens that support the use of the Bean Farm in Florence for recreational purposes are circulating a petition of their own. The first signature on the petition is from Ann-Marie Moggio, Director of the Recreation Department.
The online version can be found at the link below. So far the Agricultural folks' online petition has 681 signatures to the Recreational Fields folks' total of 189. Where do you stand?

We would like to invite you to two joint meetings of the Conservation Commission, Recreation Commission and Agriculture Commission on the public use of the Bean Farm.
The December 1st meeting is for commission discussion only and will not have public comment. This meeting is to reach an agreement to work together and create a plan to work together on the preservation of the Bean Farm.
The December 7th meeting is a public forum on the Bean Farm and move the process forward.
There will be a Joint Meeting of the Recreation Commission, Agriculture Commission, and Conservation Commission on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, 7:00 p.m.
